Comfort Frog

Comfort Frog’s quest is to comfort children/adults in a time of crisis. The uses for Comfort Frog are limitless.  It can be used in psychological counseling services, court settings, any place where there is stress and children involved.  Comfort Frog can be used in a clinical setting when the patient is being examined for abuse.  The frog can sit on the exam table or in a chair where the patient is wrapped in the arms and leg to provide a sense of security and distraction during the interview or exam.

Being machine washable is a huge asset. Children are sometimes in need of a little TLC when they come in. The frog can also be protected by one of the gowns we sell.  I now also have added a Froga for sale.  If you combine a frog and toga, you get Froga.  It is easy to take the gown or Froga off and throw it in the wash as needed. It is recommended that you only wash the frog about once a year or so.

Comfort Frog logoThe squeaker in the thumbs is a wonderful way to communicate with a traumatized or mute child. It also is fun for the kids to play with when they find it.

After talking to several physical therapists about the frog, they recommended weight in the hands. A weighted hug is more comforting. So, after working with that idea and I came up with something that fits this requirement. Now two frogs are offered, one with weighted hands, and the original Comfort Frog with the non-weighted hands. Also available is a gown and the Froga to protect the frog from getting dirty.

Comfort Frog sits 26 inches high from head to seat and is 24 inches wide and is produced in the USA.
